changes...

Cailen is quickly learning and growing independent. Finally, she has gone a week without nursing and I dare say she is being weaned. This is SO needed as the new baby's arrival is only 9 1/2 weeks away!!!! I can't believe time is flying so fast. She has a new found love for sign language. She can sign: baby, ball, stars, please, more, all done, drink, toothbrush, book, bath, bird, apple, banana and maybe one other that I've forgotten... she picked them up within a couple of weeks which I found amazing. When she sees something like an apple or I say something like "I'm going to brush my teeth" she always pauses and does the sign for it. It's really awesome.

This pregnancy has treated me quite well. Though my belly is "large and in charge" as they say, I'm still functioning... It's getting a little harder to carry Cailen and get off of the couch but what do I really expect?

The house is not sold, nor pending any sale... And at this point there is no interest in it. Please pray that this spring has a buyer for us.

The other day I asked Cailen randomly "Where's mommy's baby?" and she pointed to her belly. When sitting on my lap she will tap on my belly when I ask her... Hopefully she's catching on and won't be too surprised when she's thrust into the life of big sisterhood :)
